Treatment in preparation for an optimal IVF cycle:

As in a natural pregnancy, preparation of the patient to improve their success with their IVF cycle is the goal of our clinic. Depending on individual issues and variables, the pre-treatment with Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture may be from 1 week to 3-6 months.  Call our office if you would like a recommendation regarding the protocol of treatment of acupuncture, herbals and supplements prior to your IVF cycle.

During your IVF Cycle:

It is our policy to discontinue any herbals during our patients IVF medication treatment protocol to insure no “drug interference or interaction” occurs.  However, acupuncture, supplements and lifestyle therapeutic changes are continued throughout the IVF cycle to enhance your body’s acceptance and response to your doctor’s IVF drug protocol.

Assistance on Day of Embryo Transfer:

Dr. Wilson personally assists her patients (on site) on their day of transfer of Embryo’s.  She will perform acupuncture following a protocol from a German study demonstrating a significant increase in success rate with patients who have acupuncture immediately before and after the transfer of embryo’s into the uterus.

Acupuncture after the Transfer:

Continued treatment will assist in ensuring the healthiest possible environment for implantation, fetal development and a healthy baby. Acupuncture treatments help ensure proper circulation and nutrient delivery to the growing fetus.
