When you are under the care of an IVF doctor he/she will decide which tests are necessary for proper Western Medical evaluation and diagnosis.  We suggest you browse through our Resources section and go to websites of various IVF clinics where most have listed an array of available tests.

At our clinic, we do a full, initial evaluation, taking about two hours. We utilize this information along with a biofeedback program, Tongue and Pulse analysis, blood pressure and weight to assist our conclusion of a Traditional Chinese Medical Diagnosis.  With this information, a protocol and treatment plan is decided according to your time constraints and lifestyle.  Appointments will be made at your convenience and an extensive re-evaluation test will be made every 3-4 weeks.

For patients who have already started their IVF cycle, and are just requesting acupuncture before and after the transfer, the process is an initial acupuncture session and screening to meet and gather information and to reserve the transfer date. Post-transfer treatment is highly suggested to enhance implantation of the embryo and to enhance blood supply to the uterus.  And, of course, we hope to be seeing you throughout your successful pregnancy.
